WELCOME TO KIMBOLTON

We are delighted to welcome you to our school website. It is designed to give you a small snapshot of life at Kimbolton St. James’ Primary School and is best viewed alongside our facebook page which records many of our daily school activities.

Kimbolton St. James’ is set in the rolling hills of North Herefordshire near to the market town of Leominster. We are a small rural primary rooted in our community. Each year we welcome between 10 and 15 new students into our small reception class. This gives our children the best possible start as they move through our close knit and supportive school structure. We currently have approximately 85 children on role. We work in a soft federation with another local primary school and this enables us to provide the facilities of a larger school with the family atmosphere of a traditional village school.

We strive for academic excellence and our results each year speak for themselves. A caring and nurturing approach means that we are able to help children reach their potential in all areas of the curriculum. We are passionate about singing and sport as well as more traditional academic subjects. We have close links to our church and our community and often celebrate key events in the school calendar in our church.

If you are considering sending your children to our school then we would be delighted to give you a personal tour. You will usually be shown around by either myself or our head of school – Mrs C. Hyde. Should you have any questions however small please do pick up the phone and give us a call.
